Alt Investor is written by one person, and this page says what that person will and will not do.
Every article states who wrote it and when it was last reviewed. There are no anonymous articles and no pseudonymous authors. Former contributors’ work has been removed from the site; if any of it is republished, it will carry the original author’s name and the date. [CONFIRM: all former co-author content has been removed rather than reattributed]
Providers do not write, edit or approve articles about themselves. They do not see articles before publication. A provider may point out a factual error after publication, and the corrections policy covers what happens then.
Articles about providers are based on the provider’s own filings and documents where those exist, and say so. Where a claim rests on something a provider has told Nathan directly rather than on a document, the article says that too.
Commercial relationships do not change what is published. A provider that pays for introductions gets the same treatment as one that does not. Which providers have a commercial relationship with the site is stated on the disclosure page and on each article about them.
Articles are dated. When facts change, the article is updated and the update is dated. Old figures are not left standing because they were once true.
